Game Night
Do you like cards? Great! Come play with us! How about board games? Perfect! Bring your favorite, and get to know the folks with whom you worship every Sunday!
There is no specific schedule for the event but is a randomly picked Saturday night averaging once a month. We'll start around 6pm. We'll have food prepared for a light meal and some soft drinks. But we're asking you to bring snack foods for grazing. Healthy foods are always welcomed!
All ages, members and non-members are welcome! This is a new addition to our church activities. Keep a watch on news and upcoming calendar events listed on the Home page on this site for planed Game Nights, if you missed the Sunday Services Announcement.

Mission Statement
It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
Ephesians 4:11-13
Men’s Prayer Breakfast – Leon Gaither
Meetings are held every month on the fourth Saturday at 8:00 AM. (More Later)

Disaster Relief – Kerry Morris
Piperton UMC is filled with able bodied men. Recently, we’ve organized an effort to coordinate our volunteers to aid with local and regional Disaster Recovery.
What can one church do to help? Everything from heavy construction to fixing sack lunches or dinners for disaster recovery volunteers—whatever needs doing.
Specialized jobs are available for men interested in helping disaster victims. After a short training session, volunteers will be assigned to teams and put to work. For more information, contact Kerry Morris.

Potluck Sunday
- Written by: Webservant
Potluck Sunday is typically the Second Sunday each month after church service in Piper Hall adjacent to Church. All are welcome and there is plenty of food to go around. Each family brings a side dish or dessert, but you are still welcome if you forget to bring a food item and you are hungry for real fellowship.
Please check the monthly calendar of events or contact the church office to confirm that this event has not been cancelled.

Organizational History
Formed August 24th, 1984, the Commission on Missing and Exploited Children (COMEC) is a non-profit charitable organization that promotes the safety and protection of all children. COMEC was formed as a collaborative effort between the Juvenile Court of Memphis and Shelby County and the Memphis Police Department. Thousands of children and families in the community have benefited from the prevention and intervention services that COMEC provides. COMEC works to promote the safeguarding of our children from child predators, abductors, drug dealers, gangs and any person who might seek to harm or exploit them. COMEC has received letters of support from various city officials – Police Chief Larry A. Godwin, Shelby County Sheriff Mark H. Luttrell, Jr., and Shelby County Mayor A C Wharton, Jr.
