I am a Christian by the grace of God, and my faith in Jesus Christ.
His Presence is within me with all the power I need to meet the demands of each moment.
I will keep on believing, keep on loving, keep on witnessing, and keep on serving God.
When I fail or make mistakes, I will ask God to forgive me. And I will forgive myself.

Angel Food Ministries
- Written by: Webservant
Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to providing grocery relief and financial support to communities throughout the United States. The program began in 1994 with 34 families in Monroe, Georgia (between Atlanta and Athens), and has grown to serve hundreds of thousands of families every month across 35 states. Angel Food Ministries crosses denominational lines and has spread the good news of the gospel of Christ through salvation tracts that are placed in each food order.
You may order online at the Piperton UMC page of the Angel Food Ministries website (different payment options are available) or if you order directly through our church you need to pay with cash, money order or food stamps. Check the Angel Food host site page for important information about order entry deadlines and distribution dates.
Find Your Gifts
- Written by: Webservant
If you've been a Christian for a while, you may be wondering about your next step. "What now?" After baptism, there's a general flow of information about Scripture, traditions, and history.
There's a perfectly valid question that sometimes comes: "What about me? How do I fit in? What do I do next to best serve my God?"
One answer to that question is to find out how God has equipped you. Spiritual Gifts can be difficult to understand. For that reason, I recommend the insights of Dr. Dan Dick's book, Equipped for Every Good Work. Without reading the book, the following materials may not make as much sense as one would like. However, I think that careful look at the questions and your answers will enable you to gain a handle on what your gift or gifts may be.
Instructions
Read through the questions. Mark your answers as recommended. Don't spend a lot of time pondering; just answer the questions and move ahead. When you have finished your inventory, bring the answers to the church, and we'll interpret those together. Please know that there's no requirement for you to answer all the questions if you don't wish to do so. A simple conversation may be the best place to start.
